I’ve spent my career working across the commercial side of construction as a Chartered Quantity Surveyor (MRICS) working with contractors, subcontractors and development teams, helping people navigate commercial decisions, risk and delivery challenges.Over time, my work has shifted away from day-to-day project delivery into a more advisory role. What clients value most is not more process or reporting, but clear thinking, perspective and early judgement, particularly where decisions carry financial or contractual risk, relationships matter, and the cost of getting things wrong is high.I now work independently, providing commercial and strategic advice to contractors, subcontractors and development teams. My role is to sense-check decisions, identify risk early, and help clients approach issues with greater clarity and confidence.I’m most effective where experience, independence and calm judgement add real value, helping clients cut through pressure, noise and unnecessary complexity.My role is to bring perspective where it matters most.
